AML and KYC Policy
Our approach to financial crime prevention.
Purpose
We monitor platform activity for patterns associated with money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud and sanctions evasion, and we cooperate with lawful requests from competent authorities.
This policy exists to keep the platform usable for people using it honestly. It is applied proportionately: most accounts never encounter any of it.
Identity
Opening and funding an account does not normally require identity documents.
We reserve the right to request verification where the amounts involved, the pattern of activity, or the jurisdiction make it appropriate, and to hold a withdrawal until that verification is complete.
Verification, when requested, means a government-issued identity document and sometimes proof of address. Documents are handled under our Privacy Policy and kept only as long as required.
Account ownership
Accounts must be operated by the person who opened them. Funding one person's account from another person's wallet, or withdrawing to a third party's address, is not permitted.
One person, one account. Multiple accounts operated by the same person — to multiply opening windows, bonuses or referral rewards — are treated as abuse, and balances built that way may be reversed.
Monitoring and action
We may refuse, freeze or reverse a transaction, suspend or close an account, and retain funds where we have reasonable grounds to suspect financial crime or a breach of our terms.
Where the law requires us to report activity, we may be prohibited from telling you that we have done so. In those cases silence is a legal obligation, not evasion.
Sanctions
We do not knowingly provide services to individuals or entities subject to applicable sanctions, or to persons in jurisdictions where our service may not lawfully be offered.
Using a proxy, a VPN, or another person's details to circumvent these restrictions is a breach of our terms and grounds for closure.
